High-speed broadband is the electricity of the 21st Century. It brings growth, prosperity and better standards of living everywhere it goes. And as broadband technology improves and connection speeds get faster, the better things get. Communities that do not yet have high-speed Internet services for their citizens face a dilemma. Should they take the initiative and start their own high-speed broadband project? Or should they wait and hope that a traditional or alternative service provider will invest in their area?
