Network Functions Virtualization (NFV) addresses key challenges related to scaling, agility, and operational expenses. However, NFV also introduces important security challenges for telecommunications, including trust and attestation. This paper examines trust as a technical integrity and resource management problem, and proposes methods to ensure trusted NFV systems.
